After passing the landmark Diamond Point, Kohl's Ranch Resort and the town of Christopher Creek, we approach the Mogollon Rim. Then, it's up and over the Rim to beautiful Woods Canyon Lake and the west end of the 2002 Chedeski Fire. Turning west, we follow the face of the Rim past the cabin site of renowned western author Zane Grey. Marvel at the dramatic desolation of the 1990 Dude Creek wildfire, a stark counterpoint to the nearby lush pine forests. Continue on via Pine and Strawberry to the rugged valley of the Fossil Creek Wilderness, the Verde River, and the Mazatzal Mountains. Our favorite and most-complete tour of the Rim Country!

Sedona - Red Rock Country

A fabulous scenic view of Sedona and its legendary crimson cliffs such as Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock. Next is Clear Creek and Wet Beaver Wilderness areas before arriving at the amazing red rocks of Sedona. Enjoy the aerial sights of Sedona before heading back to Payson.
